Incidental Transportation
The Home Companion Care team understands the importance of being able to get from place to place quickly and easily. For seniors who have lost their ability to drive, maintaining some ability to travel is not only a practical necessity, but is also an essential part of retaining a level of independence. While we are not a taxi service, our caregivers are able to offer incidental transportation services to get you or your loved one to important locations or appointments.
For instance, incidental transportation may be required in order to get to a doctor’s appointment, a hair appointment at the salon, the grocery store, the pharmacy, the cemetery, religious services, special family events, etc. We are happy to provide incidental transportation services that will allow seniors to stay at home and maintain life as usual.
Of course, in addition to the incidental transportation, our caregivers will help you get ready to leave, assist you in any way necessary while you are at the location, and help you settle comfortable back into your home when you return.
