Debbie Gabrieli is the owner and managing partner of Home Companion Care located in Washington Township. Debbie has a background as a Mental Health and Chemical Addictions Counselor and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Rowan University. In 2003, Debbie found herself in the unfortunate situation of watching a beloved Aunt endure a substantial stroke and the significant challenges that follow. This experience ultimately led her to form her own company, Home Companion Care, LLC, which provides assistance to seniors and their families who may need extra support with daily activities to remain independent in their homes. Her company is licensed by the State of New Jersey and is a member of the Better Business Bureau.
Debbie is a Certified Senior Advisor and is certified in Cognitive Retention Therapy. She is a member of the Tri County Ethics Committee which addresses quality of life and quality of care issues. She is a member of the Alzheimer Association and facilitates a support group for Adult Children of Parents diagnosed with Dementia. Debbie has been recognized in the Cambridge Registry of Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals. She is an active member of the Gloucester County Partner’s in Long Term Care Committee, the Gloucester County Senior Corp Advisory Council, the Washington Township Chamber of Commerce and the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce. She is co-founder of the Caregiver Advisory Board Committee who’s volunteer mission is to provide resources, options and awareness for seniors and/or families in need. Debbie is a contributor to “Ask the Expert” and “Senior Lifestyle” magazine for the Gloucester County Times. Debbie grew up and resides in Washington Township with her husband, Frank, and their two college age children.
